Join our Volunteer Team
Every year, thousands of volunteers are active in helping us provide services that span from serving breakfast to sorting items at our thrift store. If you or your group are interested in signing up, click the link below to fill out our online application form.
Our volunteer coordinator has received your application and will process. Once approved, you will receive an email to set up your account. If you have not heard within 5 business days, please check your spam folder or give us a call at 517-485-0145.
We can accommodate groups of up to 15 at our thrift store. However, meal service opportunities have a maximum of 8 volunteers.
Simply fill out our online application and check to indicate your interest in teaching from God's Word (the Holy Bible). Our chapel speakers are ministry partners and are required to complete an interview process with our shelter director. We are able to craft schedules to meet your needs. Whether you want to come in weekly, monthly, or whenever your schedule allows, we can make that happen.
Minors in need of community service or volunteer hours for school, must be accompanied by an adult. Families with children 7 and older and supervised school/church groups of 6th grade and higher are welcome to volunteer.
